What is the End-Game content? - Guild Wars Forums

I have just recently finally been able to log on again (account block issues) and the last time I've been on has been 3-4 years. Anything that I did know I have completely forgot so I am wondering, what is the end-game content of this game?

Like for example, in WoW (which I played a lot but quit because Activison-Blizzard is selling out) the end-game content is mostly raiding and arena with the alternate choice to do achievements if your bored or want to experience the boss fights in a much harder way.

I know that in GW there is PvP, but what about on the PvE side of the game? I've done a little bit of looking and I find people saying that you go for titles, and I'm guessing the end-game content is what you have to do to get these titles.

I'm not sure if I'm right by saying that, but If I am not then please correct me or add to what I have said. If that is what you play the game for, then can someone explain in more detail the things you have to do for the titles.

Well, Eye of the North expansion is a lot of nice dungeons. There is also Fissure of Woe and The Underworld from any campaign. Factions has Urgoz' Warren and The Deep. Nightfall has Domain of Anguish. All is PvE content.

other endgame includes the elite areas as above, pvp, and what most people are doing right now: filling the hall of monuments

What kind of things do you fill the hall of monuments with and how do you go about to get those things?

You need the eye of the north expansion to use the hall of monuments. It lets you put your GW1 achievments towards receiving cosmetic items and some titles in GW2. You can also view some statues of your achievements.

Read the sticky at the top of this board - the comprehensive guild to the HoM.

You don't have to grind titles. You can get to 30, which gives all the real rewards, without doing everything.
